Zwar k\u00f6nnen manche Prozesse grunds\u00e4tzlich elektrisch beheizt werden, bieten aber nicht die Lastflexibilit\u00e4t, um der\u00a0 fluktuierenden Erzeugung regenerativer Energien zu folgen. Weniger flexible Prozess k\u00f6nnen mit nachhaltigen Brennstoffen wie bspw. <a href=\"https:\/\/flox.com\/green-gas-ready\/\">gr\u00fcnem Wasserstoff<\/a> beheizt werden.<\/p><h2>Milliardenschwerer Anlagenpark\u00a0<\/h2><p>Aus wirtschaftlichen Gr\u00fcnden kann die Umstellung auf klimaneutrale Beheizung nur schrittweise erfolgen. Im existierenden Anlagenpark stecken schlie\u00dflich Milliardenwerte. Ein Neubau ist vielfach weder \u00f6kologisch noch wirtschaftlich erstrebenswert. Andererseits ist die Nachr\u00fcstung f\u00fcr klimaneutrale Beheizung technisch einfach umsetzbar. Und auch in der Prozessf\u00fchrung bieten sich Potentiale um den Energiebedarf insgesamt weiter zu senken.<\/p><h2>Kurator Joachim W\u00fcnning<\/h2><p>Als neuer Kurator des Forschungsfeldes wurde Joachim W\u00fcnning benannt. Er verfolgt das Ziel durch regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Austausch und Vernetzung einer Vielzahl von Akteuren die Forschung und Entwicklung voranzutreiben. Als Fachmann f\u00fcr energieeffiziente und emissionsarme Verbrennungstechnik bringt W\u00fcnning das n\u00f6tige R\u00fcstzeug um echte Fortschritte zu erzielen. Gleichsam betont er, dass eine ergebnisoffene Betrachtung unabdingbar ist. Ohne eine technologisch unvoreingenommene Analyse bestehe die Gefahr, dass die besten L\u00f6sungen \u00fcbersehen werden.\u00a0<\/p><h2>Zusammenarbeit mit der Forschungsgemeinschaft Industrieofenbau<\/h2><p>\u00c4hnliche Ziele wie das neu formierte Forschungsfeld verfolgt bereits seit Jahren die im VDMA angesiedelte <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdma.org\/forschungsgemeinschaft-industrieofenbau\">Forschungsgemeinschaft Industrieofenbau (FOGI)<\/a>. Eine enge Kooperation ist daher folgerichtig.<\/p><p><em>&#8220;Das Forschungsfeld Thermoprozesstechnik und die Forschungsgemeinschaft Industrieofenbau k\u00f6nnen voneinander profitieren und sich in ihrer Arbeit gut erg\u00e4nzen. In beiden Netzwerken sind \u00e4hnliche Akteurinnen und Akteure mit \u00e4hnlichen Interessen vertreten \u2013 da bleibt auch die Konkurrenz mal au\u00dfen vor, um gemeinsame Probleme zu l\u00f6sen.
